ALBUQUERQUE, NM. December 9, 2003. Two companies are collaborating to quantify the administrative and medical cost savings gained by deploying ABC codes for integrative healthcare in the nation’s consumer-driven healthcare markets. Alternative Link and a still undisclosed online connectivity partner are documenting not only the workflow automation made possible by ABC codes, but also the identification of more cost-effective healthcare practices. The model is being prepared for two leading commercial health plans and one of the nation’s top healthcare information technology companies. This document will also be submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under an agreement between Alternative Link and the Office of HIPAA Compliance.
